the impossible become reality!
Many of you have already
received notice about the Loudoun County
for Obama Brainstorming meeting this
Tuesday January 6th at 7PM at the
Ashburn Library (from LCDC, LC
for O, etc), but wanted to get the word
out in case anyone is interested and
hasn't heard about it. The details are
below.
Thanks again, and have a
great 2009 --- we have many more great
things to accomplish this year!
Steve

Here are the
Details
The Loudoun County for
Obama organization, which was very
active from 2007 through many primaries
and the general election, is continuing
to move forward. Our next
mission (purpose), as it
has been broadly defined, is to "mobilize
grassroots support for President Obama’s
agenda for change".
Because of you, Loudoun
played a key role in turning Virginia
blue and putting
Barack Obama in the
White House! Now your
enthusiasm, ideas, energy and action are
needed to help move our country
forward. President Obama cannot do it
alone.
Please come to our BIG BRAINSTORMING MEETING on Tuesday (Jan 6) from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at the Ashburn Library, Room B (43316 Hay Rd, Ashburn). Share your ideas on where we want to go from here. Sign up now: http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/gptkk4 . Also, January 19th is a National Day of service and the Obama Inaugural campaign is asking for people to set up or volunteer on that day. (e.g., we are coordinating blood drives and a food drive; We'll talk about what has been planned, and your ideas for additional activities are welcome... although time is short to do this by the 19th.
As
President Elect Obama said: "I
will ask for your service and your
active citizenship when I am
President." Let's show him what Loudoun
County can do!
